The ramblings of the warden of this reserve on the Lizard peninsula in west Cornwall, UK, comprising 205 acres of grassland, heathland, arable fields, willow scrub and ponds. It is jointly owned by Cornwall Bird-Watching and Preservation Society and Cornwall Wildlife Trust.
